Irakli Machabeli

Irakli Machabeli is a Managing Director and U.S. Asset Based Finance Programmer for Sculptor Capital. He manages the Asset Based Finance team’s dedicated IT professionals who develop sophisticated models and pricing applications that help the Firm’s Asset Based Finance investment professionals quickly analyze a large number of trading opportunities across residential and commercial mortgages, consumer loans and other asset classes.

Prior to joining Sculptor Capital in 2008, Mr. Machabeli was Vice President Software Development at Barclays Capital, Software Developer at Bear Stearns, Software Developer at LHS Telekommunikation GmbH & Co / ERICSSON, and Manager of Software Development and Technology at Tbilisi Interbank Currency Exchange.

Mr. Machabeli holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Mathematics from Tbilisi State University and Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Tbilisi State University.
